[Jhn 15:18 ESV] 18 "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.
[Jhn 17:14 ESV] 14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
A couple of news stories this week made me think of the above verses.

It is only going to get worse from here. The world seems determined to be hateful and to impose their own will on others. What can we do? Scripture has the answer:
[1Jo 5:4 ESV] 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.
