Truth through Romans

[Rom 1:18 ESV] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. ...

There are people in this world that have no relationship with truth.  Everything is twisted to support their motives.  Facts are omitted, half-truths are spoken instead.

[Rom 1:25 ESV]  because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

God's truth is available in His Word.  But some will omit the things they don't like or agree with.  They are guilty of building a God in their own minds instead of believing what He says about Himself.

[Rom 2:8 ESV] but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. ...

We cannot say, that we haven't been warned.  We must base our lives on truth or else face the dire consequences eventually.

[Rom 2:20 ESV] an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth--

There are those people who think they are smarter than others and either 1) they owe the world their knowledge by instructing others or 2) they have nothing to learn from anyone else.  God has made each of us unique and given us unique experiences.  If you are looking, there is always something to learn from someone else.

[Rom 3:7 ESV] But if through my lie God's truth abounds to his glory, why am I still being condemned as a sinner?

God's glory should be our motivation during our journey here on earth.  The better way to show this to others is living by His grace and truth.

[Rom 9:1 ESV] I am speaking the truth in Christ--I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit--

We should want all people to know the truth about our God.  Those who are unfortunate enough to not know His truth should invoke our pity for they do not know true happiness and face a devastating eternal life.
