I've always been somewhat out of step with the world.  I read 1 Corinthians 11 and grew my hair long.  I wanted that crowning glory Scripture talked about.  From time to time I would envy my friend's trendy haircuts and lovely color treatments but it wasn't for me.  It's hard to explain, but I was convicted of the idea that chasing youth was not worth my time.  It is a losing battle.  God means for our bodies to age, that is His creation process he put in place for us.  When we follow societal dictates for holding back the aging process aren't we rebelling against Him?  This article discusses some of these issues.
