I've always tended to be a person who will complain about something I need to do for about 20 minutes when the actual task takes 10 minutes to complete.  See the problem?  Then I ran in to the teachings of Elisabeth Elliott as a young mother who was practical and no nonsense and her teachings helped me get a little better.  This article by another mom whose life was impacted by Elisabeth reflects on her teaching "Do the Next Thing."

I remember when I first had a blog when personal blogging hadn't quite exploded as it has now.  As part of homeschooling, my daughter decided to have a blog too and being more techie than her mom, her blog had cool theme music.  Listen to it here!
