Monday Meditation

I'm going to be transparently honest today.  Life has been hard and difficult over the last few months.  Not very much has gone right and I have pretty much cried all weekend long.  Only God can redeem these difficult circumstances.  I'm praying that I learn what I need to learn and remain faithful.  I found the verses below, very comforting.  Perhaps, if you find yourself in a similar situation, they will offer you a measure of comfort too.

[Psa 55:22 KJV] 22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

[Psa 89:2 KJV] 2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

[Psa 119:50 ESV] 50 This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.

[Psa 119:76 ESV] 76 Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant.

[Psa 125:2 KJV] 2 As the mountains [are] round about Jerusalem, so the LORD [is] round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

[2Co 1:3-7 ESV] 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. 6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. 7 Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.
