Can anything happen apart from God's will, either decreed or permissive?  I say no.  This article also says no.  Either God is sovereign or he isn't.  It's really quite simple.  I say this even though things are difficult for my family right now, many problems are having to be faced and happiness and contentment seem so far away right now.  But I rest in His sovereignty and trust His plans for us.  My joy in Him is steadfast.

A Favorite Song

I may have done this one before, but it has been a comfort to me this week.  "Oh My Soul" by Casting Crowns lets us know that God is always with us in the valley.
