Interesting Article
If you ask most people what they want, they will inevitably say "I just want to be happy." But let us be honest, there are times and seasons in life that happiness seems to be for everyone but you. Social media just compounds those feelings as we only see snapshots of people's happy moments. I was reading this devotional and after the first sentence, I thought "how depressing." However, I persevered and by the last sentence I was reminded that:
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. [Rom 8:28 ESV]
A Favorite Song
In the times of unhappiness, we can be overwhelmed with self doubt and fear our vulnerability but really it is an opportunity for God to work in our lives. This week I kept hearing this song, by Matthew West and it is just a really good reminder, God has a plan for us no matter what our circumstances.
