[Exo 14:4, 18 ESV] 4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will pursue them, and I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, and the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD." And they did so. ... 18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten glory over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen."
After all the plagues and wonders He has done, after the shock of the last plague, Pharaoh wakes up and realizes he's let his labor force go. So he pursues them with an army and the Israelites are trapped against the sea. But God parts the sea and provides an escape for His people. When His people are safe, He returns the waters back over the Egyptians chasing after His people.
[Exo 15:26 ESV] 26 saying, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer."
Three days in the wilderness without water and His people are thirsty. The Lord promises to mend, cure and repair His people; to make them whole.
[Exo 16:4, 12 ESV] 4 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law or not. ... 12 "I have heard the grumbling of the people of Israel. Say to them, 'At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. Then you shall know that I am the LORD your God.'"
Another day, another grumble. The people had the hangry(ies). I totally get this. You tend to get very dramatic when this condition hits. But God promises that they will have meat in the evening and bread in the morning. And God always delivers on what He says He will do.
He protects His people, He heals His people, He provides the needs of His people. He is the great "I AM."
