Word Study Wednesday

[Luk 11:9 ESV] 9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Ask, seek and knock.  Always pursue God's will for your life.

[Luk 12:29-31 ESV] 29 And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried. 30 For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them. 31 Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you.

Don't seek the necessary; Jehovah Jireh already has this covered.  Seek the top priority of Him and His kingdom and He will take care of the rest.

[Luk 13:24 ESV] 24 "Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

Don't put off the seeking.  Put it off too long and it will be too late for the narrow door will be closed to you.

[Luk 15:8 ESV] 8 "Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it?

Treasure, like God's will for your life should be diligently sought after.

[Luk 19:10 ESV] 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."

He seeks too...He seeks to gather His children under His wing.

[Luk 24:5 ESV] 5 And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?

The One True God is unlike any other god, He is alive and is longing for you to accept His indescribable gift of salvation.
