Thinking Thursday

Congratulations!  As soon as you finish today's post and if you have been with us since the first post covering Revelation, we have been through the complete book...every single verse.  And now it is out there on the internet to access anytime.  So let's finish up:

[Rev 22:16-21 ESV] 16 "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star." 

Jesus himself authenticates all that John witnessed and wrote down for other Christians.  He also tells us that He is the root of David, that David is a grandfather of His and that He is the bright morning star.

17 The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. 

The Holy Spirit and the bride of Christ (the Church) want nothing more than to be with Jesus.  He is available to all who want Him!

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,

Never, ever, ever add to the Word.  It will not go well with you. 

19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. 

And never, ever, ever take away from His Word or you will pay a heavy price being shut out of the place He has prepared for His bride.

20 He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! 

Please come in your perfect timing Lord!  I can't wait but I will!

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

Until He comes to collect those who belong to Him, His grace is sufficient for us.
