[Gal 3:13-18 KJV] 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:
Christ is the only person to keep the law perfectly and that is why He became the sacrifice that redeemed us back to God.
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Abraham's faith was counted to him as righteousness. Through Christ, we are in the same position. If we believe in Christ, His righteousness is what God sees when He looks at us.
15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though [it be] but a man's covenant, yet [if it be] confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
There is nothing we can do or say to better or worsen our condition since God through Christ established a new covenant.
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
This whole covenant depends on Christ alone.
17 And this I say, [that] the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
The law served its purpose for the time it was designed. Although they are still good principles to follow, our eternal life does not depend on our adherence to them but on faith in the beloved Son.
18 For if the inheritance [be] of the law, [it is] no more of promise: but God gave [it] to Abraham by promise.
The inheritance would be by works and not faith. It is much better that it is by faith!
