For Real Friday?

The situation that shocked me this week is a Congresswoman's Green New Deal that would send our country back to underdeveloped country status.

Do we need to be good stewards of our country's resources?  Absolutely.  Do we need to avoid one use manufactured parts?  I'm on board.  Do we need to cut down on the amount of trash we produce?  Drive by any landfill and you'll see the answer for yourself.

But how do you ban cow farts?  No cows?  Good bye milk for your breakfast cereal and cheese for your burger.


Cut down on air travel?  Politicians first! I haven't been on a plane in 30+ years.

The idea that we are creating wild weather patterns by our modern life then how is the wild weather patterns of pioneer days explained.  The fact is, there has always been wild weather.  So there must be another explanation and that depends on your world view.

Do you think God was surprised by all of man's inventions and actions?  No He wasn't.  He spoke all of creation into existence.  He will sustain it until it is time to make a new heaven and a new earth.
