[1Peter 3:4 ESV] but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.

Wisdom Wednesday
[Pro 31:11-12, 25, 29-30 KJV] 11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
I don't want to get to the end of my life and have my husband feel that his trust in me was misplaced.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. ...
Not his life...her life. So to me that means before I met him and after he is gone, should he pass before me.
25 Strength and honour [are] her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. ...
I think of my maternal grandmother with this verse. I found her to be full of strength and honor and hope to be thought of in the same way.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
I aspire for my husband to feel this way about me but then again not enough to deep clean my house 😆
30 Favour [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain: [but] a woman [that] feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
At the end of my life, fearing the Lord is what I wish to be known for and to hear His praise of "well done good and faithful servant."
Note: this concludes our study on Proverbs. Ecclesiastes begins next Wednesday!
