Monday meditation

[Rom 10:10 ESV] 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

So straight forward, believe.  Believe what?  Believe the gospel:  Jesus left heaven to come to earth as a baby born of a virgin.  When he was 30 he began his 3 year mission that led him to die for the sins of the world, yours and mine, he was buried and 3 days later he was resurrected by the power of God and 50 days later he ascended back to heaven to the Father's right hand where he intercedes for his people until his return to establish his reign forever.

Simple, you confess.  You live out what you believe and you tell others so they have the same opportunity to live a life dedicated to the Lord.

[Rom 10:14 ESV] 14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

Someone told us, so we should tell others.  It's scary, I know but we share and leave the results to Him.

[Rom 10:15 ESV] 15 . . ."How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"
