A Bloody Palm Sunday

This news broke my heart.  So awful, so terrible, so evil.  As someone sitting on the other side of the world, I cannot comfort them.  I cannot help repair the damage.  But what I can do is rush the throne of grace and implore the one true God who loves his people to be what His people need.  To be their comfort, to be their avenger, to be their justice, to be their strength in the face of evil.

[2Co 1:3-4 ESV] 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

[Heb 4:16 ESV] 16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
