Today's moment, I remember clearly. I was preparing for a bible study and a phrase leapt off the page and seared itself into my brain. Here are the verses:
[Luk 22:31-32 NKJV] 31 And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift [you] as wheat. 32 "But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to [Me], strengthen your brethren."
That Jesus prays that our faith doesn't fail during the times of temptation by Satan is mind blowing enough.
That He knows we will fail sometimes in the moment, yet return to Him broken hearted and sorrowful that we failed Him and He will still use us for His kingdom. This so gives me hope.
