Thinking Thursday

[Mat 24:32-36 KJV] 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

It is almost summer when a fig tree puts forth leaves.  When we witness everything that Jesus describes in Matthew 24 previously, His return is near.

A generation that sees these events, will see the 2nd coming of Christ.

A new heaven and new earth will also happen.  God's word stands forever.

We may not know the day or the hour, only God the Father knows that.  But that doesn't mean we won't know the approximate time as Jesus has given us the signs to watch for.
