Brokeness and sinfulness are not the same thing.  One can lead to the other though.  This article from TGC is a good read.  It has me thinking on the two situations and how they apply to my life and to those I interact with.

A Favorite Song

In dealing with both brokenness and sinfulness, we need to be honest.  I like this song by Francesca Battistelli.  The words just speak to me and remind me that mercy is available in both situations.

A Thought to Ponder

I think this is true.  Our sinfulness and/or our brokenness is what we know and what we've become accustomed to.  But His perfect love should cast out fear.  Holiness is a gift, like salvation, we just need to accept it.
