19 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. [Mat 6:19-21 ESV]
My pastor preached on these verses yesterday. And it had me thinking all day long. What is it that I treasure? What are the things that I invest my life in? Am I focusing on the things that will follow me into eternity? Should I leave behind some things and pursue more Christlike things?
I'll be pondering these things in the days ahead.
