[Heb 13:14 ESV] 14 For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.
What does this verse in Hebrews mean?
I believe it means the place that Jesus mentioned in John 14:2 when he said "In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."
I believe it is the city described in Revelation 21:2: And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I encourage you to read all about this beautiful city in Revelation 21:10-27 and seek to belong to God so you might see this wonderful city one day.
