For the Weekend and Monday Meditation combo

I am really finding myself in a time crunch as I get ready for Thanksgiving and deal with extra work at my job.  Things came up on Friday so I never got around to posting...I was having trouble thinking of something to write anyways...can you say writer's block?  Well God has a purpose because on the drive to church, He provided all of my elements to today's post.

Here is the scripture I have been ruminating on since Friday afternoon:

[1Th 5:11-18 ESV] 11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

12 We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord
and admonish you,

13 and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

14 And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak,
be patient with them all.

15 See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.

16 Rejoice always,

17 pray without ceasing,

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Encourage, Build up, respect, admonish, help, be patient, seek to do good, rejoice always, pray constantly and give thanks in all circumstances...a good concise listing of our duties when we serve the Lord.

Many of these actions include how we use our words.

A Favorite Song

This song reminds us of that fact.  Hawk Nelson is the band that reminds us of this concept.
