[Jas 1:2-8 KJV] 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Sometimes, this is hard to do.
3 Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
There is always something to learn about why you are going through what you are going through.
4 But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Tough times should make you a better person...someone more like Him.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
It is a consistent prayer of mine.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
I sometimes wonder if I am a waverer?
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
But based on this verse, I'm thinking I better not be.
8 A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.
I do not wish to be unstable in any part of my life so I seek to bring all in submission to Him.
