Thinking Thursday

[Gal 4:17-20 KJV] 17 They zealously affect you, [but] not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.

People you listen to and hang out with affect you.  Make sure it is for your betterment.  Also, some people are arrogant enough to think you need their influence but they absolutely do not need yours.  One sided relationships are not healthy.

18 But [it is] good to be zealously affected always in [a] good [thing], and not only when I am present with you.

People who point you to God, and the awe and worship of Him that is who you should allow to be affecting you.

19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Paul will leave no one behind until he is convinced that Christ is firmly established...let us be of like mind.

20  I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.

Paul desires face to face assurance from the Galatians.  There is just something about looking others in the eye...you can judge a situation better than through a letter or a screen.
