Monday Meditation

Well, I took a longer social media sabbatical then I was planning because... L I F E ! ! !

Have you ever noticed that when you carve out some downtime, something always comes along and fills it without any effort on your part?

Time is a resource...a gift, if you will, from the Creator of time.  Therefore, our time is subject to Him.  He fills our days with what He appoints for us individually as well as what He appoints for all of us.

[Jas 4:13-15 ESV] 13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit"-- 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that."

and

[Eph 5:15-16 ESV] 15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

to what end

[1Ti 6:13-15 ESV] 13 I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, 14 to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 which he will display at the proper time--he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
