[1Peter 3:4 ESV] but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.

Monday Meditation
[Isa 26:3-9 KJV] 3 Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.
Do I know this peace? I do most days because I trust Him like I trust no other.
4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH [is] everlasting strength:
Everyone else is going to let you down at some point. But He will not.
5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, [even] to the ground; he bringeth it [even] to the dust.
He opposes the proud and when He must, He will give the proud a lesson on their place in the world.
6 The foot shall tread it down, [even] the feet of the poor, [and] the steps of the needy.
When He blesses you mightily, along with that blessing comes great responsibility to use it properly and to bring the glory due His name.
7 The way of the just [is] uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
He notices when His people adhere to the standards He has set.
8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of [our] soul [is] to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
When we've tried everything else, we know what we should have been doing all along because only He satisfies our souls... we desire His glory and justice and His rule.
9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments [are] in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
We desire righteousness. The world is so ugly without it. We can not attain the paradise we seek without Him.
