[1Peter 3:4 ESV] but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.

Thinking Thursday
[Phl 3:1-6 KJV] 1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed [is] not grievous, but for you [it is] safe.
Our teachers in the Lord and what being Christian looks like often needs to be repeated so correct thoughts are kept in the forefront of our minds.
2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
Stay away vicious and people with evil intents. What in the world is "concision?" Those who mutilate the flesh...uh oh. This is what the world is considering "cool" at the moment.
3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
I am a sinner saved by grace. I don't trust myself as far as I can throw myself. If left to my own devices, I would be one hot mess. I know this!
4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
When we compare ourselves to others and place ourselves superior to a majority of others this is a fault.
5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, [of] the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
Paul was the most Hebrew of the Hebrews and before Christ got his attention, he took great pride in this.
