[1Peter 3:4 ESV] but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.

Thinking Thursday
[Phl 4:14-18 KJV] 14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
If we see a need, we should do what we can. You know that whole golden rule thing!
15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
If we are the first to help, it can't help but to encourage someone to carry on.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
Taking the first step in helping someone becomes a habit...the more you do it the more it becomes a habit.
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
The one helped, in turn, hopes you are blessed by the Father for your efforts.
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things [which were sent] from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
Paul is right. God is pleased when we help each other especially when it costs us something (i.e. a sacrifice).
