[Exo 20:16 ESV] 16 "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
There is a lot of that going around. We need to remember to treat others as we wish to be treated. If you do not know something as a fact, there is no use talking about it. Besides our first action should always be prayer for the person being talked about.
[Exo 23:1, 7 ESV] 1 "You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness. ...
Don't make stuff up and partner with evil people. Most people have agendas. Most people aren't acting on behalf of the kingdom of God. Approach everything with caution and forethought.
7 Keep far from a false charge, and do not kill the innocent and righteous, for I will not acquit the wicked.
We will answer before God someday for our words and our actions. Don't do anything today that you will regret when He asks for an explanation.
