We found out yesterday that our health insurance premiums have more than doubled and this means our income for 2019 will go down by several thousand dollars a year before we even receive it. I'm trying not to panic though...these things will be what they will be and we just have to rely on God to show us the way.
Some lessons on sacrifice from Leviticus:
[Lev 1:9-10 KJV] 9 But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, [to be] a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
10 And if his offering [be] of the flocks, [namely], of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.
[Lev 7:12 KJV] 12 If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.
Sacrifices should be a sweet savour or in other words sacrifices should be pleasing to those to whom they are offered.
Sacrifices are not sacrifices unless they cost you something dear and you are offering the best to the Lord.
Sacrifices are to be offered with thanksgiving. It is a privilege to sacrifice unto the Lord.
