Inspiring Example

It is difficult to live up to people's expectations.  Especially at church.  There I said it.  Someone will criticize the sermon topic, others thought the music was too rowdy and some of those kids were just too disruptive.  We have some people in our church's who are just perpetually disappointed because the worship service just didn't "move" them or they don't feel like they were "fed."  Might I suggest, the problem isn't the worship service, but instead with their wrong focus.  Read this article to understand what I mean.

A Favorite Hymn

We sometimes need reminders of how fortunate we are to have Jesus as our Savior.  Life gets busy, and our focus moves on to other things.  This hymn's lyrics just made me chuckle at myself and how I need to be brought back again and again to the idea that only Christ can fulfill me.
