Timely Tuesday

As someone who values justice, this story is enraging.  But it is a story that has been repeated many times.  Evil is rewarded and the good suffer injustly.  But we can take comfort, because our God sees.

[Deu 32:35 KJV] To me [belongeth] vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in [due] time: for the day of their calamity [is] at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

[Pro 20:22 KJV] Say not thou, I will recompense evil; [but] wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

[Rom 12:19 KJV] Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

[2Th 1:6 KJV] Seeing [it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

[2Th 1:7 KJV] And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

[2Th 1:8 KJV] In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

In the end, God is just and that is eternal.
