in the "umm...yeah...no" category

in the "and you don't???" category.  People criticizing other's strongly held beliefs about moral issues are often guilty of the same thing they are criticizing the other guy for.  Why can't we just say, "we disagree."

in the "yeah, parents are the problem" category.  How about sticking to academics instead of teaching moral values.  Parents can teach children how to relate to others who think differently in a kind and compassionate way instead of the government dictating there is only one way to think about certain issues.

in the "are these types of laws necessary" category.  Again, can we not let parents decide what is best for their children?


What I'm praying for this week:  That people are allowed to live in liberty and freedom and decide what is the best way to live and that none of us are arrogant to think we can shove our beliefs down everyone else's throats.
