[1Peter 3:4 ESV] but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.

Thinking Thursday
[Phl 2:12-16 KJV] 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
There comes a point that we all must be responsible for becoming more like Jesus. When we first come to Jesus, there are teachers and fellow Christians who are helpful in pointing us in the right direction and what a Christian life being lived looks like. Eventually, though we must develop our ability to listen to His Holy Spirit and obey it on our own.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure.
God made each of us unique and He customizes each of our journeys. He places a desire in each of us to live for Him as only we can do.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
This is a hard one...it's not do "95% of things" without murmurings and disputings but 100% If you have any tips on this one, please pass the info along (asking for a friend 😖)
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
God's people should stand out as different...that belonging to Him is the best. We have found the answer to our soul's questions and we should have people asking us "where can I find what you have?"
16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
And then we can tell them about Him and celebrate the day He returns together.
